In keeping with the policy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in developing the human capital and training the national workforce, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Cordoba Training Center and the Bahrain Travel and Tourism Association (ABTTA) on 08/13/2020. The MoU stipulates that Cordoba Training Center will provide internationally recognized training programs for workers in the travel and tourism sector in coordination with ABTTA. The memorandum also stipulated that these programs which contains detailed models provide all the necessary practical skills for employees of this field, such as digital skills in selling tickets, international reservations, tourism coordination, and training on Saber program. The training program: Foundation in Travel & Tourism is selected by an international accredited IATA authority to suit the evolving labor market needs at the global and local level, in order to empower workers in this sector and raise their level of job performance. The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Ali Mansour Al Shehab, on behalf of the Cordoba Center, signed the Memorandum of Understanding, and the agreement was also concluded by the Chairman of Bahrain Travel and Tourism Association, Mr. Jihad Amin.
